Golden Mean Mother and Child Earrings

Designer: Isidro Nilsson

$55.00

Golden Mean Earrings also called the Mother and Child earrings, were designed using the Golden Mean Proportions also known as the Fibonacci Number Sequence.

The Golden Mean earrings are about 1 1/4" long and 3/4 inches wide. This is not including the ear wire which adds about 1/2 inch to the overall length.

When you order, let me know if you want sterling silver ear wires or pure titanium. The titanium is the best hypoallergenic material. The price is the same.

Construction:
I divided a wire circle into the Golden Mean proportions. I then forged the two ends into a domed spiral curve like an opening flower.

One end is then cradled inside the other creating a subtle sense of nurturing. Hence, the name "Mother and Child".

I created a video that shows step by step how these earrings are made. This video is available from my other Etsy shop here. http://www.etsy.com/shop/thehammeringman
