The Billy Ring

It's always fun to create something new. this band was an experiment to test several new techniques. The ring ended up a size 13 and I sold it Just hours after I finished it to a friend of mine named Billy.

Now I call this style The Bily Ring. I can make one in any size you want. Please ask me about the lead time, It will vary depending on my workload at the time.

Construction:
I made a pure copper band and textured it using a ball peen hammer and then I machined a groove in the center.

I made a thin sterling silver band that just fit over the ring to settle in the groove. Then I stretched the copper band to the desired size thereby tightening and permanently setting the silver band in the groove.

This design can make a great wedding ring set. I can make it in any combination of metals. For example, Yellow gold band with palladium white gold in the center. Or sterling silver band with yellow gold or copper center band.
